Being a huge bookworm, I read a humongous amount of books. Books are my best friends and life for me is IMPOSSIBLE without them. I read a wonderful book recently. Aptly named 'The Host', this awesome bestseller by Stephenie Meyer is based on a love triangle.
Our Earth has been taken over by aliens who take over the human body. But in this case, the 'soul', Wanderer, cannot erase the human out of the body. She fills Wanderer's thoughts with images of a man she loves, who lives in hiding from the aliens and her younger brother, who is dearer than life to her. Soon, Wanderer begins to love the same man and the two set out as reluctant allies to find the man they both love.
This book brings tears to the eyes. The ending is fantabulous, but the sad part is that there is no sequel. This book cannot be put down once you start reading it. This book portrays the true love of siblings, how much ever they fight. Meyer also questions many characteristics of humans through Wanderer's different reactions to murder, love and many more.
I recommend that you read this book. An awesomely superb book, it's sure to hook you on until the end!
